Lawrence Joseph Cox

January 8, 1954 - September 18, 2024

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lawrence Cox on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the age of 70. 

Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Walter and Lilly Cox; brothers Harry Yurko, Richard, Leonard and Edward; brothers in law Keith Hay, Morris Shevella and Gottlieb Kreitzer. 

Lawrence will be lovingly missed by his common law spouse Debbie Horvath; daughter Janice Horvath and son Jordan Horvath; sisters Jeanette Hay, Evelyn Shevella and Doris Kreitzer; and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Lawrence was born in Lestock hospital. He worked with water and sewer construction for many years and was also school custodian at the Punnichy Elementary and High school, he loved volunteering and helping others as needed. 

The family would like to thank the Medical Surveillance Unit at the Pasqua Hospital for the compassionate care Lawrence received before he passed with his family at his side. Lawrence will be forever loved and missed. 

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11 am in the Punnichy Town Cemetery, Punnichy, SK. following the service, a luncheon will be held in the Punnichy Seniors Center. 

Our family thanks everyone for all your love and kindness during this sad time. your thoughtfulness is appreciated and will always be remembered.
