It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Leonard Favel.

He leaves to mourn the love of his life, Lillian Ewenin, six daughters, three sons, seven adopted children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and seven siblings.

He was just an everyday man doing the best that he could. Leonard will be remembered as the world's greatest mushom/grandpa/papa/nayna/chapan by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to play, tease, but most of all, he loved to teach them things. He could always be found doing something with one or more of them. Leonard was a very caring, doting and attentive father. He loved to be at the beck and call of his children and he rarely told them no. He was a hero to his children and his grandchildren. Leonard was a devoted and loving husband for 39 years. He worked hard all his life for his family. In his early years as a young man, it was for his parents and siblings, then as a husband and a father. He was a caring and dependable brother, he loved to visit his siblings and tried to help whenever he could. Leonard loved music, he especially loved Johnny Cash songs. He had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. If things got too quiet, he would burst into a song and had a big wonderful smile. He liked round dance songs and made a few of his own. He was physically strong and he was a good mechanic. He found pleasure working on vehicles and fixing things. He made the best grease bannock ever.

Leonard will be greatly missed by a family who loved him immensely.
