Marcella Mary Bearden

Mom was born March 7, 1943 in Mullingar Co Westmeath, Ireland and passed away unexpectedly May 3, 2024.With an easy charm and kind heart, Mom' s departing is a huge loss for all those that loved her. Always up for the next adventure Mom loved to be around people have laughs and share jokes. She found friends wherever she went ( hello to moms new 'aussie friend ' she met on her last train trip out west) and she leaves a legacy of friendships behind her. Mom's family were her heart and her daughters were her soul. She was steadfast in her support and overflowing with her love. Mom leaves with the lives of all she knew and loved being better just because she was here. 

Marcella was predeceased by her second husband Bob in 2009. Her daughters Noreen (Craig) Adrienne (Stuart ) and Carol (Bear & Trixie) will move forward in life with the memories of a mother fierce in her love of them. She was a beloved grandma to Sarah, Maddy & Will and to her step grandchildren Jasmine, Justyne and Kyle. Stepson Ron (Lindy) and honorary daughter Donna were also much loved by Mom. Mom adored and loved her brother Tom (Maura), sister Noreen (Jerry) and brother Jimmy (Vangie) and was able to visit them in Ireland one last time last fall. Mom had a special relationship with her nieces and nephews and their children. She adored them all. Mom had many friendships that spanned a lifetime including Chris & Pete, Ermyn and Jeff, Hazel and Bobbie. There are many others; the list is too long.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2 pm in the Meadowood United Church, 1111 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
