Margo Lynn Huber
January 13, 1950 - November 24, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margo Lynn Huber of Southey, Saskatchewan, on November 24, 2025. Surrounded by the love of her family, Margo left this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished most.
Margo is lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend, Larry, whose friendship with her was a source of joy and comfort throughout their life together.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters, each of whom she guided with wisdom, patience, and boundless love: Erin (the late Ian) Thinn of Moose Jaw, Robin (Curtis) Dubiel of Yorkton, and Amy (Shawn) McCuaig of Sacramento, CA. Margo will also be deeply missed by her brother Jim (Sandra) Laatsch of Logan Lake, BC, brother-in-law Ardin Huber and Vivian Gerrard of Regina, sister-in-law Lenore Huber of Regina, as well as nieces, a nephew, extended family, and dear neighbors and friends.
Margo took immense pride in her grandchildren, whose lives she touched with enthusiastic encouragement, humor, sarcasm and affection: Kyle Huber, Talia Huber, Clayton Dubiel, Anthony Dubiel, and William McCuaig. She was also blessed to know and love her great-grandchild, Xander Buziak, who brought her tremendous joy.
Margo is predeceased by her mother Margaret Burrows, father Stuart Laatsch, brother Alvin Laatsch, sister-in-law Patricia Laatsch, mother and father-in-law Susanna and Arnold Huber, and sister-in-law Christina Huber.
Margo’s compassion, warmth, and quiet strength were evident in every part of her life. Whether through her dedication to family, her generosity of spirit, or her ability to make others feel seen and valued, she made a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. She cared deeply about her faith and church community, and took great pride in being a member of the Southey community. She will be remembered for her love of music, her generosity, her sarcasm, her resilience, and the love she shared so freely.
Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May she rest in peace.
A come-and-go tea will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at the Southey United Church Hall from 11 am to 2 pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
