It is with great sadness & heartache that the family announces the passing of Mary Alice Desjarlais "Maggie", on July 12, 2026, at the age of 51.

Predeceased by her great grandparents: paternal: Francis Xavier Desjarlais & Mary Grace Poorman; maternal: Philip & Angeline Desjarlais, parents: Mary Pearl Desjarlais & Clarence Dustyhorn; adoptive dad Kim Gee; sister Caroline "Fatty" Kequahtooway; nephew Suede Desjarlais; baby Victoria; uncle Bert Desjarlais; aunties Rhonda & Tara Desjarlais.

Maggie leaves behind to mourn her loving husband of 36 years Curtis Cyr; her daughters: Victoria Desjarlais, Elisha Desjarlais, Keisha Desjarlais, Evangeline Desjarlais & Ava "Shark" Desjarlais; sons Devon Cyr, Ashton Desjarlais, Leiland Desjarlais & Aiden Desjarlais; brothers: Taron "Parker" Desjarlais (Brenda) & Chris Desjarlais (Tauna); baby sister Raina Gee; grandchildren: Lynniah Desjarlais, Terri Longman, baby John Longman, Tobias Desjarlais, Zion Desjarlais, Emma Desjarlais, Nico Ball, Francis Desjarlais & Rylan Cyr, nieces/nephews: Shayah PrettyShield, Shaiden PrettyShield, Christopher Desjarlais, Chevelle Desjarlais, Shayce Desjarlais, Kyrie Desjarlais, Tyrell Kequahtooway, Derek Shepherd, Dallan Shepherd, Kihew Shepherd, Angelina Shepherd, Taron Desjarlais Jr, Janessa Gee, Tashawnna Gee-Desjarlais, Dorian Worm, Kim Gee, Kaidence Gee & Kobe Gee; as well as numerous friends & family members too numerous to mention. A wake will be held in Maggie's honor on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 4pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex. Funeral services will take place the following day, Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 11am in the same location.
