It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our mother Mary Maureen Selinger (nee Haffner) on April 30,2022 at the age of 88 at the Balcarres Integrated Care Center. Predeceased by her husband Aloysius and children Doug and Della. She is survived by her children Murray and Yvonne their four children Kia (Devon) Kyra (Preston) Kavis (Cassidy) Kansas (Keegan). Donald (Raeanne) and their 2 children Evan (Kayla) Garrett (Vanessa). Kevin (Donna) and their four children Brandon (Miranda) Devin (Becky) Robyn (Jessie) Nicholas (Kayla). Susan (Simon) and her 2 children Austin and Sterling (Brittany). Jane (Ian) and her 3 children Amanda Dalton Jessica (Jordan) and Pat (Della’s husband) and their 3 children Heather Robyn (Mark) Holly (Matt) as well as 18 great grandchildren.

Mom was a fantastic cook and truly loved family gatherings where she could always show off her special homemade dishes. She loved living at the lake where she could garden, cook, fish and entertain.

Maureen’s favorite job was raising her children, she always said that she wouldn’t change it for the world. Maureen also excelled at working for the courthouse in Saskatoon, assisting dad with Elections Canada and working with her daughter Susan at Brides and Company; mom sold more bridal gowns than anyone else.

Mom had a true passion for sewing especially with her daughter-in-law Donna.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Angie and all the staff at the Balcarres Integrated Care Center for the fantastic care mom was always given and to Sister Teresa for the prayers. We love you all dearly.

A joint graveside service for both mom and dad will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 11:00 at the Riverside Cemetery in Regina. Coffee, tea and a light lunch will follow at Riverside.

Donations can be made in Marys name to the Balcarres Integrated Care Center or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
