August 24, 1965- February 16, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was predeceased by her Father Louis Henry and Mother Leita Henry; Sisters Janice (infancy), Denise, Judy, Betty, Bonnie, Pamela (infancy), Hannah and Leita; Brothers Terry and Lawrence (Hawkie) and Maureen’s loving husband Jack Crawford and son Louis Henry.
Maureen is survived by her two brothers Keith (Christine) Henry and Barry (Lana) Henry, Sisters Sharon (Sidney Peepeech), Anna Henry; Her two sons, Ryley (Stephanie) Henry, grandchildren Ryanda, Braydon, Keighton, Rodney, Ashlyn, little Leita, and great grandchild Melah June; Preston (Natasha) Henry, grandchildren Torrie, Aurora, Brynnie; Cousin and traveling companion Lester Henry; as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Maureen was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her boys and grandchildren who she loved and adored. Maureen’s love could always be felt as she would regularly reach out to family to support them in their time of need. Maureen was a caregiver and provided loving care for many family members at the end of their life.
Wake service will be held Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex, Ochapowace Nation. Funeral service will be held the following day, beginning with Traditional Feast at 11:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. with lunch to follow.
