Maurice Paul Moneybird (Moe)
September 27, 1961 – August 14, 2023
It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Maurice (Moe) Moneybird on August 14, 2023 at the age of 61 years. He was predeceased by father Joseph Littletent; mother Myrtle Moneybird; brothers Clarence, Mervin, Richard, Chuck; adopted brother Kimberly Benjoe; sisters Vera, Gloria; aunt Pearle Okeeweehaw; uncle Gerald Moneybird; nephews Alvin, Jesse, Justin C; nieces Elaine, Alison.
Left to celebrate his life are sister Leona; aunt Eileen Rintinal; brother Clarence Stonechild Sr (Cathy), nieces and nephews Wayne, Leanne, Clarence (Maureen), Angel, Gail, Adriane (Trevor), Byron (Cheyanne), Feather, Dakota (Jim); as well as special extended family the Littletents; special friends Sidney Akapew, William (Big Guy) Akapew; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins too many to mention.
Wake will be held Sunday August 20, 2023 at 4 pm in the in the Little Black Bear Community Centre, Little Black Bear First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Monday August 21, 2023 at 11:00 am in the same location. He will be laid to rest in the Starblanket Cemetery, Starblanket First Nation.
