Max Itittakoose Sr.
August 1, 1955 - August 31, 2024
The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, mushum, and great-mushum, Max Itittakoose Sr, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the age of 69. Max proudly served many years as a councillor for the Daystar First Nation
He was predeceased by his parents, Sam Itittakoose and Eva Itittakoose (nee Kingfisher); his adopted parents, Tillie and Norman LaFond; his brothers, Robert and Clifford; his sisters, Bernadette, Annie, Hazel, Christina, Gloria, and Cathy; his sons Michael and Andrew; and his grandson Kane McNabb; and daughter-in-law Jennifer Kay.
Max is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; his daughters, Rayven (Ronnie), Nowell (Nikia), Samantha, Elaine (Corey); son Max Itittakoose Jr and his adopted daughters, Candace , Crystal; and adopted son Ramirez Windigo; sister Theresa (Bryan) McNabb; brothers Joe (Sandra) Kingfisher and George (Adele) Kingfisher; grandchildren, Alexia, Angelina, Alysha, Christopher (Jordyn), Aurora (Jayson), Muriel, Chase, Cheyenne, Isaiah, Michael, Lena-Ann, Hannah, Leigha, Reign, Aris, Mary-Ann, and Conrad; and his great-grandchildren, Lily-Belle, Rayven-Lynn, Evangeline, Gracelynn, Daimen, and Xaiver.
Max’s memory will be cherished by special niece, Debbie; special nephews, Vinny, Peanut, Pat, Tony; and special cousin, Annette Johnstone, and Kingfisher family.
Max's legacy will also live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his kindness and strength.
Wake will be held Wednesday September 4, 2024 at 4 pm in the Daystar Gym, Daystar First Nation. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11 am in the same location. Internment in the west cemetery, Daystar First Nation. The family request no children at the wake or funeral services.
