It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Brother, Father, Uncle, Michael Dean.

Michael was predeceased by his Paternal Grandparents; James & Elizabeth Tuckanow, Maternal Grandparents; Fred & Oral Cyr, his Parents; Ernest & Marlene Tuckanow, Brothers; Russell Tuckanow, Chris & Fred Cyr, Sisters; Christine Tuckanow, Denise & Misty Cyr, Brother-In-Law, T.C. Nanapay.

He is survived by his daughter Sydney; Sons; Mitchell & Nathan and their Mother Christine Akapew; Sister Dawn (Brian), Brothers; Fred (Lorraine), Ernest Jr (Lori), Darcy (Vye), his Bro’s TJ Cyr, Shaun Creeley, Brad “Bob Man” Desnomie, Mother-In-Law Barb Creeley-Nanapay and his Partner/Best Friend Lorraine “Bird” Creeley and Step-son Sage Creeley. Special Aunts; Mona Dieter, Lydia Desnomie, Sandy Starr (Edgar), Isabel Cyr (Russ), Erma Cyr, Pat Malbeuf-Pratt (Bob), Patti Stonechild, Joanne Akapew (Sidney); Uncles; Tom Tuckanow, Dale (Debbie), Rick (Liz), Clarence (Cathy) Godchild Chazz Denomie-Cyr and nieces & nephews to numerous to mention but he loved them all.

Mike was a carpenter and mechanic in life, those he met became his friend, he loved to sing and dance, he enjoyed life.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Regina General Hospital and All Nations Healing Hospital Fort Qu'Appelle for the compassionate care Michael received.

Wake will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 4 pm in the Okanese Learning Center, Okanese First Nation. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11 am in the same location. Covid -19 protocols will apply. Interment in west end cemetery, Okanese fist Nation.
