June 11, 1950 – May 23, 2022

On Monday May 23, 2022, Mike peacefully passed away of natural old age causes surrounded by Angels with his loving wife and daughter by his side. Hand in hand. Mike went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He leaves behind to mourn his long time partner, best friend, his loving wife Joanne Rhonda Twovoice. His daughter Michelle her children- Ashton, Shaynah (Brayden), Johanna, Maynard, Kwaniel, Toby (Cheryle), Braxton, Joziah, Barrezmend, Amirah. His son Travis and his children Tyrel (Raven), Mckennzie, Anikan, Andrew, Ava, Arvella, Jylon and his great grandchildren Aaliyah, Kharissa, Cashis, Lamarkus, Rosalie and another baby on the way.
Numerous sister in laws, brother in laws, nephews and nieces, cousins, friends, relatives, brothers and sisters in the Lord. He will be dearly misse by all.
He was predeceased by his paternal parents John James and Mary Anne (Nee Twovoice) Thorn. Brothers Russel, Joe Harry, Peter and John. Sisters, Elizabeth and Margaret.
Mike loved Jesus he was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and he desired all family and friends to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He loved church, his dogs; he liked animals, nature his art and his drawings. He enjoyed full gospel Christian music. He loved to play and sing.
A prayer service will be held at the Chief Ben Paskwa band hall, Pasqua First Nation on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place the following day, Saturday, at 1:00 pm in the same location, internment in the Thorn Cemetery, Pasqua First Nation.
