who passed away peacefully at home on Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation.

Wake will be held Sunday, November 30th, 2025, at 4:00pm, in the Kaniswapit Central School, Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation. Funeral service will be held the following day, Monday, December 1st, 2025, at 11:00am.

Mildred was born September 12, 1951, at Fort Qu'Appelle Indian Hospital. On November 27, 2025, she passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband and family by her side.

Mildred was predeceased by her daughter Doreen Cappo; grandson Devin Cappo; brothers Ian Peigan, Barry Toto, and Dwight Peigan; sisters Doreen Peigan, and Leona Peigan; parents James (Jackman) Peigan and Mable Peigan (Keepness).

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Tom Cappo Sr., sons Bradley, Tom (Sheri), and Bam (Cindy); daughter Angel Myran (Dwayne). Grandchildren they raised Jerome, Mitchell, Devin and Keesha. Mildred loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Sisters Donna Toto, Gayle Peigan, Carol Lavallee, Jackie Watetch, and Monica Goforth Peigan; sister-in-law Rose Grey; brothers James (Baldy) Peigan, and Sheldon (Linda) Peigan; Special great grandchild Maddy Wesequate; Mildred loved all her family, friends and community, she always wanted the best for everyone.

A special thank you to Nurse Dawn for her kindness and support. Thank you to everyone for your love, support and prayers. She will be missed.
