The family of Minerva Cynthia Louison aka MinMin, sadly announce her unexpected passing. She was born May 14, 1972 and passed away on December 26, 2021. Minerva is predeceased by her parents Ella Louison and William (Bill) Wanapi; her older brothers Bradley George Louison and Erik Mecas; sister Glenda Rabbitskin (Wapoosiyan); and her stillborn son, Gordon Manitopyes.
Minerva is survived by her children Orlena, Thomas, Lamas and Charles Louison; grandchildren Louis, Jessica and Xavier Blacksioux, Chloe and Sapphire Louison (Orlena's children), Michael Craig-Louison (Thomas' child); sisters Darlene Taypotat, Marlous and Danita Louison, Noreen Cyr (Earl) and Valeria Louison-Therrien;
brothers Darnell and Aaron Louison (Cindy) and Rob Donison, including numerous nieces, nephews and friends, that she considered family.
Minerva was the baby of her sisters and brothers; she was very loving and caring towards everyone; not a day went by, when she didn't get her way because she was the baby. Some days she was understanding and some days she wasn't. She had nothing but a big heart for her family and friends.
Traditional wake will be held on Sunday January 2, 2022 at Kahkewistahaw Community Complex at 4:00 PM with traditional funeral services on Monday January 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Traditional Elder(s) will be officiant(s). Covid 19 protocols will apply. Arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Wolseley, SK. 1-306-698-5000.
