Natasha Gwen Keewatin
“ Great Mountain Spirit Woman ”
March 19, 1988 – February 14, 2024
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Natasha Gwen Keewatin on February 14, 2024.
Natasha leaves behind her loving husband of 20 years Bradley Wesaquate and together they shared their only baby Mikayla; parents: Jake and Debbie Akapew; brothers: Wesley (Ashley), Jason (Alana), Jerry (Oralea), Shawn (Spring); sisters: Ashley (Devin), Pam (Aaron), Mari (Lyle), Amanda (Craig), Brittany (Tyrone) and Brandi; god-sons Devin (dopes) and Chase; special aunt Denise McNab; special sisters Trista (Terry), Tara Starr, Gina (Jonathan), Tanis McNabb; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Those to greet her into the spirit world are her mom Donna Akapew; brothers Devin “Mick” and Aaron “Meat Pac”, Kevin Wesaquate; nephew Jarod Nanapay and her family and friends that left before her.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Regina General Hospital for the compassionate care Natasha received.
A traditional wake will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 4 pm in the Little Black Bear First Nation Community Center. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11 am in the same location.
