Noris Bertha Buffalocalf (Taypotat)

November 22, 1961 – March 15, 2020

Noris Bertha Buffalocalf passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

She was predeceased by her parents Horace and Clara Taypotat, her two brothers Wallace and Wilbert, as well as two sisters Elsie and Olive.

She is survived by her sons Shawn & Beata Taypotat and Chad & Miriam Taypotat, her brother Carl Taypotat, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and her grandchildren Wallace, Tealyn, Natowa, Kiana, Kealy and Kealyn.

The family would like to thank the nurses at the Broadview Hospital and Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital.

Wake service will be held Thursday, March 19 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Kahkewistahaw Hall, Kahkewistahaw First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Friday March 20, 2020 beginning with a Traditional Feast at 11:00 a.m. , followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. in the same location. Ladies please wear your ribbon skits. The family graciously asks for no children to be present as well due to the circumstance of the COVID-19 virus, they ask for those who are not feeling well to stay at home and rest.
