Olga Mandziak (Kotylak) 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 19th, 2026 at St Joseph’s Home Saskatoon.

 

Born on November 16, 1927 to Isaac and Annie Kotylak of Lipton, Sask. Olga was raised on the family farm and attended Shawlands School. Olga helped in all the family chores and being the oldest of seven children helped out with the kids. To make extra money, Olga did laundry for the neighbour and did some housework for a family in Kelliher. In 1946, Olga met the love of her life, a handsome Armed Forces fellow, Alex. In 1947 they married, together they raised a family and loved their farm life. Olga’s love of her garden and flowers were her passion. She loved to crochet, needlepoint pictures and sewing patchwork quilts. Olga was always there for her children in all aspects of life. Olga is survived by her daughter, Lynda; granddaughter Lorie (Cory) great grandsons Brock and Jake; grandson Daniel (Jazmine); Son, Terry (Shelley); granddaughter Nola great granddaughter Kiana; grandson Devon great granddaughter Ava; granddaughter Amy(Tom). Predeceased by her husband Alex in 2014.
