On Monday October 19, 2020, Parker, loving husband and father of four children suddenly passed away at age 54.

Parker was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 20 1966 to Florence Rose Ward. Parker had an extensive career in the field of Security Operations. On August 12, 1991 he married Brenda Lee Hackewich. They raised two daughters Kate and Kelly Jo, and one son Warren.

Parker had a strong connection to the land and lived on Peepeekisis. He was an avid hunter, paintball enthusiast and enjoyed photographing the animals and landscapes that surrounded his home. He was also a music lover. He was known for his quick wit, friendly smile, infectious laugh and the willingness to lend a hand. Parker was happy to be living in his home on Peepeekisis and participated in elder events, helping, learning to walk the Red Road and lived life in a good way, attending events and PowWows at every opportunity.

Parker was preceded in death by his Mother, Florence and Grandparents William Edward and Josephine Marie Ward, He is survived by his wife Brenda, his four children, Warren (Shannah), Kelly Jo (Enzo), Kate and Courtney. His grandchildren Julian, Dante, Lilith, Abby, Isabelle, Giovanni, Journey and Jasmine. His brother Darcy Ward, Aunt Valerie Ward and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitations starting at 11:00 a.m. will be held on Saturday October 24, 2020 on Peepeekisis First Nation at the Roman Catholic church, followed by internment. The family would like their loved ones and friends safe, therefore, COVID-19 gathering protocols will apply.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations towards a memorial for Parker, donations can be forwarded to Warren Ward 419 Alexandrea Street, Regina SK, S4R-4W6.

Due to COVID 19, a celebration of Parker's life will be held at a later date where family and friends can gather, have a meal and give Parker the tribute he deserves. Please forward your contact information to the family so they can send notifications.
