Randy James Crowe-Buffalo
December 21, 1969 – June 10, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Randy James Crowe-Buffalo (One Who Flies With The Birds). Randy was born in Wynyard on December 21st, 1969 and passed away in Regina surrounded by family on June 10th, 2023.
Randy was predeceased by his grandparents; Cecil and Rose Crowe-Buffalo, Mary Anne Campbell and Erling Magnus Hornseth, Parents; Olive Crowe-Buffalo and Leonard Hornseth, Aunts; Lorna, Francess, Marianne, nephew Thomas Dustyhorn, and many aunt’s, uncles, family and friends.
Randy is survived by his wife Charlene, daughters; Lucy(Lyndon), Renee(Jessy), sons; Roderick and Brendan (Holly), grandchildren; Riley, Teegan, Mason, Jace, Colten, Reegan, Jojo, Jaxon, Wayne Jr, Riyah, Taya. Brothers; William, Leonard(Audrey), nieces; Olivia(Wayne), Amanda, Cailin, Tatiana, Jewelia and Jayda. Nephews; Jarett, Jaydan and Aniko. As well as aunt Freda(Herb) and numerous cousins, friends and bros.
Randy loved all of children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Randy was the man to never forget a birthday and always checking in with his family and friends. To know Randy was to love him. He was an accepting, humble, giving, selfless person. Randy will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
A traditional wake and funeral will be held at Day Star Gym, Day Star First Nation on Tuesday, June 13 starting at 4pm, funeral to follow on Wednesday, June 14th at 10am. kêhtê-aya (Elder) John Stonechild to be officiating and Duane(Charlie) Buffalo as oskâpêwis (helper). We are welcoming all to attend and celebrate Randy’s life.
