May 8, 1998 – January 20, 2024

With great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our baby girl Raynell Shanna Laswisse-Obey on January 20, 2024. She leaves behind her 2 beautiful children Lance Jr and Zoey Favel; mother Angie; special father Marvin Obey; brothers Adam and Kashious; sister Jessica ; and many extended family, cousins and friends.

Raynell was predeceased by grandma Pat Laswisse; grandpa Clarence Bruce; special cousin Caneel; great grandma Barbara Ryder and special uncle Melvin Ryder.

Wake will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 4 pm in the Tatanka Najin School Gym, Standing Buffalo Dakota First Nation. Funeral Service to follow on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11 am in the same location.
