In Loving memory of Reynold Norman Starr

December 14,1968 - November 1,2024

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the FAMILY announces the passing of our beloved Son, Dad, Grandfather and Brother. Reynold went on his journey with family at his side on November 1, 2024 at 9:58 pm at the SICU General Hospital. Reynold touched each one of us in a special way, as we reflect on these times SMILE because that’s the kind of personality he had, just remember his connection. Reynold was one of the first level 1 operator at the Water Treatment Plant in White Calf, he graduated from White Calf Collegiate here in Lebret, SK, He was very intelligent, never had to study for exams. His passion was to keep trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Reynold is predeceased by his beautiful wife Sonya Sunshine Starr, his brothers Trevor Starr, Greg Blauth/Poorman and nephew Vincent Morrisseau/Poorman, grandparents Norman and Dorthy LaFontaine, John Agecoutay and Marion (Willow)

Reynold is survived by his parents: his father Edgar (Buddy) Starr, and mothers Sandy Starr, Lois Pappin / late Larry Gauthier(father) who recently left on his journey.

Also Surviving is his beloved children daughter Raelene Starr, her children Kylie Jr., Mila, Karmen, and Kylence .Sons Brody Starr, Brandon Starr. Reynold Eric Starr and Samuel Starr,

Reynold was a good mushum, blessed with 4 grandchildren they are his pride and joy, he loved them so much.

Surviving sisters are Scarlett Papin (James), Lacey Papin (Sebastian), Dallas Papin and baby sister Miranda Starr, adopted sister Simone Felix,

Brothers: Vince Poorman, Hugh Poorman/Jessica, Jarrad Starr and Glen Starr

Besides numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.

Our family is like the branches of a tree, we may grow in different directions, yet our hearts remain rooted with each other.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge Stars Air Ambulance, All Nations Hospital and Emergency Unit and Surgical Intensive Care at the General Hospital, Special thanks to his Doctors Baird, Doctor Whittemore both intensive care doctors and his surgeon Doctor Zanetti also his nurse Micelle besides his medical team. Most of all our families, special thanks to his Aunt Lorraine Keewatin/Joe for prayers also Aunt Anita Bigknife/Lawrence who were our rocks. Many thanks as well to other family relatives and friends who strengthened us during this difficult trauma.

To Star Blanket for financial support, special thanks Joanne Starr and Chief Michael Starr and all the people who called, texted and came to support us.

A wake will be held on Thursday November 7, 2024 at 4 pm in White Calf gym, Lebret Saskatchewan

Funeral Services at 11:00 am, November 8, 2024 at the same location.

Interment -  

Bigknife Private Cemetery, Star Blanket Eastend

The Family invites you all to celebrate the last meal with our son, before we travel to Star Blanket east end cemetery.
