Richard James Thorn (Nick) 
June 3, 1962 - January 21, 2025 

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Richard James Thorn (Nick) on January 21, 2025.

Nick was pre-deceased by: Grandparents Sam and Margret Geddes, his parents Irene Geddes and Wilfred Thorn, his siblings George Geddes, Brenda Thorn, Ronald Thorn Sr., Debra Thorn-Cyr, Robert Thorn, Donna Thorn and William Thorn and his children Richard Jr. Thorn, Kelsey Thorn and Richelle Thorn.

He was survived by his wife Cynthia Thorn, brothers Brian Thorn Sr. (Elaine Brass), William Thorn and Matthew Thorn, sister Yolanna Thorn, children Melissa Gamble, step-children Pamela and Kelly Brass, Kyle, Kayla and Kalene McDonald a special grandchild Brendan McDonald, numerous other grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends. 

Nick was a very generous man, he would help out anyone, including giving his last dollar to help those in need. It would have been Cynthia and Nick’s anniversary on February 29. He will be dearly missed by his wife and everyone who knew him.

Wake will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 4pm in the Chief Ben Pasqua Elder's Hall on Pasqua First Nation. Funeral Services will take place the following day, Monday, January 27, 2025, at 11am in the same location.
