It is with sadness & heartache the family announces that River Richard Hayes Poorman was called home by Creator initiating his journey to the ancestors on June 2, 2025.

He left this world to join his great moshum Richard, moshum Stacey, auntie Cassandra, uncle Jesse & cousin Mikey in the spirit world.

Baby River is survived by his beautiful mommy Errin; sister Shailyn (Brandon); brother Ethan; niece Violet; nephew P'te; his papa & Koshi, Conrad & Raylene; his great kokum Caroline as well as all his moshums & kokums, aunts, uncles & numerous cousins.

A wake will be held in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Center on Kawacatoose First Nation Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 4pm. Funeral services will take place the following day, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11am in the same location.
