Ryan was called home by the Creator peacefully, on Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. 

He was predeceased by his mother Caroline L. Wasacase; daughter Brandy Maureen Wasacase; grandparents Ella & Roderick Henry; nephews Cameron Jason Wasacase, Arthur Roderick Wasacase.

Ryan Leaves to mourn his daughter Mary Lou Louise Wasacase; brothers Zachary Wasacase, Stacey Wasacase, Donnell Wasacse; sister Mary Lou Wasacse; special aunts Levina Dorma, Ruth Henry, and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ryan loved his family, his grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life, visiting with them often. Quite the jokester, he was always laughing and teasing others.

Wake will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 4 pm in the community complex, Kahkewistahaw First Nation.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026 beginning with a feast at 12 noon with service to follow. Interment in the Kahkewistahaw First Nation cemetery.
