Samuel Richard Geddes

August 8, 1935 – December 15,2019

Samuel Richard Geddes passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Wascana Grace Hospice in Regina Saskatchewan.

Sam was predeceased by his parent Sam and Maggie Geddes; his wife Sybil; brothers Fred, Alex, William (Bill) and Lawrence; sisters Myrtle, Irene and Ruby; adopted children Steve and Katherine (rags) Pratt; grandchildren Richard Jr. (Rock), Melanie, Christopher, Christian and William; son-in-law’s Michael and Randy.

Sam is survived by his children Richard (Sharon), Beverly and Erma; sister Iva Geddes McNabb; sister-in-law’s Cathy and Millie; special great grandson Jordan as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 Wake will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Old School Gym, George Gordon First Nation. Funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the same location.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Gordon’s Health Team, doctors and nurses at the Pasqua Hospital and Wascana Grace Hospice in Regina SK.
