Stuart Wade Bitternose, Jr. Born August 4, 1965. Passed peacefully on August 9, 2025. He is survived by his dad, Stuart, SR (Marie) and mother, Margaret. Former wife Angie (James). His children: son Terrance and (DIL) Nikki, daughter Amber (SIL) Dan, son Tyler (DIL) Karis, and daughter Emma. His grandchildren: Hannah, Ava, Thomas, Dayne, Layla, Wade, Annataya, and AJ. His siblings: brother Clem, sister Germain, and sisters Angie Severight (James) and Leslie. Special niece and honorable daughter Krissy. God given son and daughter Kelly and Chelsea Buffalo. As well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is pre-deceased by his brother Harvey and sister Corrine. Doting father and mother-in-law Alex and Lillian Nahnepowisk.

Stuart was a hardworking man. Brave and courageous. He was presented with many challenges during his time, but he always did his best to approach life and each challenge with a wicked sense of humour, positive attitude, and willingness to overcome each bump in the road. He loved his family ferociously, especially his grandchildren. His papasons and babygirls. He was well loved and well known. You couldn't catch him out and about without him stopping to wave or talk to someone he knew.

He will be so dearly missed and will live on through those that will carry on his legacy, stories, and especially his humour.

Wake will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 4pm in the Old Gymnasium on George Gordon First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11am in the same location.
