With heavy hearts & deep sadness, the family of Suede announces his sudden passing on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 29.

Predeceased by his mother Caroline Kequahtooway (Fatty); his father Anthony Seepeengoose; great grandparents Philip & Angeline Desjarlais; grandmother Mary Pearl Desjarlais (Koko); grandfather Kim S. Gee; baby brother Dawson Kequahtooway; moshum Bert Desjarlais; kokum Rhonda Desjarlais (Aunty Panty); kokum Tara Desjarlais; uncles Gil-b Machiskinic & Eric Desjarlais; cousins Ashley Desjarlais, Andrea Desjarlais, Chasity Desjarlais & Lesia Desjarlais along with many other family members & loved ones. Suede left to mourn his only daughter Caroline Desjarlais-Cyr (CJ); brothers Tyrell Kequahtooway, Derek Shepherd, Dallan Shepherd & Kihew Shepherd; sister Angelina Shepherd; adoptive siblings Kimberlee Gee, Kaidence Gee & Kobe Gee; uncles Taron (Parker) Desjarlais (Brenda), Chris Desjarlais (Tauna) & Ty Desjarlais (Tamara); aunts Mary Alice Desjarlais (Maggie) & Raina Gee (adoptive mother/aunt); cherished cousins Nayaa (Brown) Desjarlais, Devon Cyr & baby Chris.

A wake will be held in Suede's honor on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 4pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex on Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11am in the same location.

The care of arrangements has been entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Raymore, SK
