It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Terrance Ross Assiniboine. Born November 18th, 1962, in Broadview, Saskatchewan. Creator called him home on January 26th, 2026.

Terrance was predeceased by his wife Lorenda, daughter Tara, nephew Mohawk, grandmother Hortance Watcheson, his parents Eileen and Donald Assiniboine, brothers Donavon Issac, Perry and Ringo Assiniboine, sisters Donna and Lisa Assiniboine, special aunts Grace Bear (nee Assiniboine), Marci Bear (nee Alexson), and special cousin-brother Jason Bear.

Terrance will be deeply missed by his aunties, Merle Harvey and Rose Manhas; his brothers, Maynard, Cecil (Patti), and Darcy; and his sisters, Loretta, Patricia (Randy), Sherrill (Kelly), and Jodi. Children: Danielle Geddes, Alyshia (Percy Jr.) and Samantha. He dearly loved his grandchildren: Tanisha, Kelsey, Haile, Taleigha, Ashayna, Darian, Neveyah, Lanayah, Leilani, Nipin, Alisa, Owen, and Daxton; and his great-grandchildren, Malina and Aria. Along with many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.

Wake will be held on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at 4 pm in the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex, Ochapowace First Nation. Funeral services will be held the following day, Friday, January 30th, 2026, at the same location, with a feast beginning at 11 am, followed by the funeral services.
