October 26, 1977 - November 6, 2023

It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family of Vanessa announce her sudden passing at the age of 46. She has went on to the spirit world to join her loving husband, Brad Rapheal. Her mother Rhonda Pelletier, her brothers Christopher Anderson, Aaron Bitternose-Anderson and infant brother Brett Pelletier. Her brother in law Cory Rapheal. Her grandparents, Howard & Malita (McNab) Anderson and Daniel & Gladys Pelletier, who did contribute to raising her in childhood.

Vanessa leaves to mourn her children and grandchildren, D’Shawn (Josie) his children Temperr, Leonardo, Xzavier, Dena; Aaliyah (Xander) her daughter Filia; Mickenzie (Tremaine), and her baby Mckenna. Her older children Sean, Chantel and Dana. Her dad, Howie (Pauline) Anderson. Her father-in-law Clarence (Donna) Papaquash. Her brothers Jordan Pelletier, Ryan and Eric Bitternose. Her sisters Nadia Pelletier and Laura & Tara Bitternose. Her special Auntie Karyn (Derek) Pelletier and Uncle Dennis Bird. Her many many close cousins, extended families and dear friends she has made over the years. Too many to list them all. Vanessa was such a kind and caring person to all.

Wake will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 1pm in the Old Gym on George Gordon First Nation. Funeral will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 10am in the same location.
