Veronica Evelyn Rakai (nee Kurucz)

It is with great sadness we announce that our mom/grandma/great grandma/great great grandma went to be with dad. She passed away peacefully on January 1. 2025, at the age of 94.

Vera was predeceased by her loving husband Andrew, her parents and many other family members.

She will be forever missed by her brother Julius Kurucz, her children: Jim (Sheila), Andy (Dawn), Monna (Bill) Kish, Diane (Larry) Benko, Rosey (Albert), Garth (Lana). Grandchildren: Tara (Ken), Amanda (Brad), Keith, AJ (Tine), Kahla, Amber Lee (Dwayne); Kathleen (Rob), Cari (Tyler); Rob (Elsie), Sharon (Deon), Crystal (Davin), Ken (Amber); Tammy (Jay), Kevin (Lori), Trevor (Rene), Keegan; Jodi (Mark), Jessica, Cody (Megan); Joey, Jenna (Micheal), Kyle, Janina. 39 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11am in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cupar, SK with a luncheon to follow. There will be a private family interment after the luncheon.
