January 26, 1960 – May 7, 2024

Wayne passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side.

He is predeceased by his parents Irene & Floyd; his grandparents; sister-in-laws Linda (Randy) Sands & Kathy (Randy) Sands; brother-in-law Darcy.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Darlene; his children Trinity (Elle) & Tristan (Gerald); grandchildren Tenjin, Raijin, Oldin, Aria, Zoey & Jade; siblings Delores (John), Randy, Carmen (Sherry) & Keith; in-laws Denise (Kevin), Greg (Kathy) & Clifford (Dorie); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

Wayne grew up in Prince George, British Columbia. As a teenager, he moved to Saskatchewan & spent a number of years working on the oil rigs. He & Darlene were married in 1984 & they had their family completed with the addition of a son, Trinity, & a daughter, Tristan. Eventually, Wayne moved to a different profession & began working construction. In their later years, Wayne & Darlene settled in Punnichy, Saskatchewan until the present.

Wayne loved his children & grandchildren very much. He enjoyed good times with them as well as other kids that spent time in the Sands' home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, as per the family.

The service will not be livestreamed.
