Werner Norman Senft

Werner Norman Senft, late of Lipton, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on February 4, 2020 in Palliative Care, Regina Pasqua Hospital at the age of 88 years.  Werner was born September 2, 1931 in the Reindeer District northeast of Lipton, second child of Fred and Lottie Senft.  Werner was predeceased by his parents , Fred and Lottie Senft, his in Laws, Rev. Arthur Miller and Margaret Miller, sister Evelyn Fry, brother in law, Herman Neu, Louis Buium, Ernest Fry, Donald , Victor and Karl Miller and sisters in law Margaret, Mary and Marion Miller.  Werner will forever be remembered and missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Esther, their children; Barry (Carolee), children Carter (Kirsten) and Lyndsey; Garth, son Taylor (Georgia); Kelly, daughter Ashley (Dylan) and Corey (Jen), children Blake, Grace, Riley (Chelsea) and Austin (Mikaela).  Also, by his sisters, Bernice Neu, Ivy Buium, brother in law Wilfred Miller and sister in law Mary Ellen Miller, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held at Living Christ Lutheran Church, 120 Watson Street, Lipton, Saskatchewan on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm.  Pastor Koch officiating.  Private family interment at a later date.  Special thank you to nurses Eric and Brenda of 3E at the General Hospital and Sharon at Palliative Care at Pasqua Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion during Werner’s stay.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Werner to Living Christ Lutheran Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Fort Qu’Appelle, Sk.
