It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, grandmother and friend.
Whitney began her final journey on Wednesday June 10, 2026 at the age of 39 years old, surrounded by the love of her family in the Pasqua Hospital Intensive Care Unit in Regina, Saskatchewan following a courageous battle.
Whitney was predeceased by her mother Dorothora (Norma) Aisaican, her maternal grandparents Beatrice Aisaican & Mathew Sparvier, her paternal grandparents Alec & Elise Poorman
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved children, Devin, Kaylee (Jason), Tila (Vance) London (His father Julius Louison), Castiel and her partner Jonas Shepherd, her step-children, Felicity, Sophia & Gigi. Her father Wendell Machiskinic (Serina) Her sisters, Kayla (Ricky), nieces Aaliyah, Shavon & Hailey. Courtney & niece Nadinea, her brothers and their children Mike (Tara), niece Willow, nephews Kobe, Chaz & Daxton. Brother Alex (Dionne), nieces Samarah, Soraya, Carrisa, Dorothy, Lovern, Mekhi. Special Aunt Sandra Goodtrack. Special Uncle Doug Machiskinic (Donna)
Whitney also leaves behind a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews all of whom brought her immeasurable joy and happiness in her life including her best friend of many years Jessica Wilson.
Wake will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 4 pm the Community Hall in Cowessess First Nation, SK, Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 1 pm in the same location.
Burial site is in Zagime First Nation - Kequatooway Family Burial Site
