William Robert Birns

The family of William (Bill) Robert Birns would like to regretfully announce his passing December 19, 2023 at the age of 82. Bill was predeceased by this parents Edith (Love) & Russell Birns. He is survived by his children, daughter Roberta Smith(Ron Mackin), son Doug (Ronnie) Birns, brother Kenn (Nela) Birns and sister Judie Birns (Brad Johnson). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren along with numerous relatives and friends.

Bill was an avid collector of antiques and sports memorabilia. He was dubbed the garage sale King by many, always looking for a treasure. He was a long standing member of the Legion. The great grandchildren often called him the Ice Cream Grandpa, because every visit meant a trip to the ice cream store.

Be at Peace now dad. Rest easy until we meet again.

There are no services planned at this time, the family plans to hold a celebration of his life at a future date.
