We are saddened to announce that Owe Taninyan Mani has made his way to the next camp with the Creator on Sunday, July 16, 2023. William is predeceased by his grandparents, Martin Wajuntah and Elodia nee Blackbird. His father Cecil Wajunta and mother Sarah Wajuntah nee Favel, Uncles Dan Wajunta, Lawrence Joseph Wajunta, William Wajunta, Andrew Ferguson. Aunts Edna Wajuntah, Esther Ferguson, and Selina Wajuntah. His siblings Sylvia and Donald Wajunta, cousins Joseph, Bernice, Frank Wajunta, Alford, Sharon, and Joe Ferguson.

"STICK" is survived by his loving siblings Connie, Fred, Melvina, Rina, (Gregg), and Bernice O'Watch (Clyde). Special nephew Brendon Wajunta Sr. (Francine). His special grandsons Avery (Setiva) and Brendon Wajunta Jr., also his great grandchildren Hudson and Ella Wajunta. He is survived by many close friends and family members, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren.

A wake will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 4 PM in the old daycare, Standing Buffalo Dakota First Nation. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11 AM in the old daycare, Standing Buffalo Dakota First Nation.
