The Great Creator has called the beautiful soul of Yolanna home to the spirit world on March 27, 2025. For those who knew her well, knew her as Lancy. Lancy was a very loving mother, grandmother and aunt. Lancy raised her nephew William and was raising her grandson Waylon, her pride & joy, as her very own since infancy. Lancy was very outgoing, outspoken and beautiful. Her best friend was her daughter, Gen and her favourite singers were Cree Spirit.

Waiting to greet her on the other side are her grandparents, Alex & Eva Kay; father Wilfred Thorn; siblings George, Debra, Ronald, Richard, Robert, Brenda, Donna & Wilson Thorn; nephews Eldon Littletent Kehew Hyman-Kay & Travis Kay; nieces Sheyenne Kay, Charmaine Kay & Tara Kay; uncles & aunts Albert, Charolette & Evelyn Kay; Cousins Pauline BlueEyes & Shellyn Kay.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Ethel Kay; siblings Craig (Sheila), Karen, Morely, Tyron (Annie) Littletent, Brian (Elaine), William & Matthew Thorn; grandson William Thorn; children Wilson, Genevieve, Waylon, James & Rylan Thorn; special uncle Chewmeno Kay; special aunt Lorna Kay; special cousin Marilyn Kay; niece & nephew Colby & Fallon Worm.

Wake will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 4pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Center on Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11am in the same location.
